Coordinate Measuring Machine
A coordinate measuring machine (CMM) is a device for measuring the physical geometrical characteristics of an object. At its most basic a coordinate is a point, a fixed singular location in three-dimensional space. With our Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) we analyze 3D parts to compare measurements, positions, shapes, tolerances, and surface curvature with the 3d data. The measuring instrument provides detailed graphic reports of the product quality allowing us to observe any imperfections.
3D scanning, the process of converting physical objects into precise digital models, enables us to quickly and accurately capture the object’s shape and geometries. This process supplies us with a complete digital representation of the part to be used for quality inspection or at any point of a typical manufacturing cycle.
